Michael Batdorf brings a wealth of operational experience to Evolve IP. His 15-year career in the telecommunications industry has provided him with invaluable experience in managing a growing company in a challenging and ever-evolving industry. As Vice President of Business Operations, Mr. Batdorf manages the Service Delivery organization, and oversees the project management, provisioning and installation of all Evolve IP customers.  Mr. Batdorf is also responsible for vendor management, contract negotiations, and all general business, legal and regulatory activities for the company.

Prior to joining Evolve IP, Mr. Batdorf served as Senior Director of Corporate Development for ATX Communications, where his primary responsibility was to lead various strategic initiatives designed to increase the profitability of the organization.  The cost savings initiatives conceived and implemented by Mr. Batdorf resulted in EBITDA improvements of several million dollars annually.  A respected leader in the organization, he was recognized often throughout his tenure at ATX, taking home the Quest for Quality award in 1996, followed by back-to-back wins of the Award of Distinction in 1998 and 1999. He also received the Most Valuable Player award in 2005.

Mr. Batdorf’s professional experience extends to his active involvement in industry organizations, including his role as a director of the Associated Communications Companies of America, a non-profit telecommunications consortium.

Mr. Batdorf graduated Cum Laude from Cabrini College with a bachelor's degree in organizational management.
