Carl Herberger
Vice President, Information Security & Compliance Services

Carl Herberger, who has more than 15 years of information security experience working for private and public enterprises, brings a unique and extensive background in information security and regulatory compliance to Evolve IP. As Vice President of Information Security & Compliance Services, Mr. Herberger is charged with developing, managing and increasing the efficiency of the company’s security and compliance line of business.

Prior to joining Evolve IP, Mr. Herberger served in various security and disaster recovery leadership roles, most recently as president and co-founder of Allied InfoSecurity, Inc. Before that, he was the information security officer for BarclayCard US, where he managed the company’s entire information security program. Earlier, he led the SunGard Professional Services IT Practice to be recognized as one of the top five IT security consulting organizations in 2005. He also has held positions with the Campbell Soup Company and the U.S. Air Force.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Herberger has been awarded several professional certifications including CISSP and CISM; invited to speak at more than 100 industry events; featured in numerous national and trade publications; and included in business school course work at University of Boston, University of Minnesota and Villanova University.

Mr. Herberger received a Bachelor of Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Auburn University.

Mr. Herberger currently resides in Media, PA.
