Position Title:
Field Service Technician
Position Description:
Install and maintain services at our customer’s premises.
Major Reposibilities:
- Complete site surveys of customer locations in preparation of new service installation.
- Installation of customer premise equipment
- Routine maintenance of customer premise equipment
- Diagnosis and repair of service impairments
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of field service experience
- Knowledge of telecommunications systems and equipment
- Some datacomm experience preferred
- Some Voice over IP (VoIP) experience preferred
- Hands on experience with TBerd test sets
- Clean driving record
- Good people / customer skills
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Knowledge of cable color-codes
- Hands on experience with telecom hand tools
