As the Product Marketing Manager of Cloud Computing, you will be responsible for the marketing activities for Evolve IP’s virtual data center, DRaaS, desktop services and related cloud computing products. You will provide the market and competitive knowledge around these products, craft the messaging and positioning for the services and conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive their demand.

Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. In your role you will also be the expert in the services’ buyers, how they buy, buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of technical cloud computing experience – particularly related to understanding VMware environments for data center and server virtualization, disaster recovery and desktop services. Experience with EMC and HP 3Par a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, demand generation, marketing communications
  • Experience working with, or reviewing and evaluating public clouds and public cloud providers
  • Creative thinking capabilities; Interest/desire to learn and adopt new marketing strategies and tactics
  • Business analysis and competitive analysis experience
  • Go-to-market development plan capabilities – including successful launch planning, positioning, and execution
  • Demonstrated results in improving sales pipeline/funnel close ratios
  • Understanding of marketing automation systems and Salesforce.com
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence others without formal authority
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
