Who is ITP?
The ITP is the leading membership and training body for the Telecoms industry in the UK. Supporting our members since 1906, we are championing and transforming the UK telecommunications tech sector and the people in it.
We are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting our members and industry by harnessing digital skills to build a sustainable industry and workforce for the future. We provide enhanced learning and knowledge services to fuel the UK telecoms tech sector through apprenticeships, professional development and career advancement. Our diverse community comprises thousands of members, ranging from large corporations to SMEs, as well as individuals spanning from students and apprentices to high-level professionals and retirees.
We extend our reach across the whole of UK, boasting a wealth of knowledge in all facets of Telecoms. Members enjoy exclusive access to daily insights, events, and real-time news, enhancing their industry awareness. Being a member of the ITP opens doors to valuable networking opportunities with customers, partners, regulators, government representatives, and industry peers throughout the UK.

Apprenticeships
Our apprenticeship scheme was launched in 2013 to tackle the UK’s digital skills gap. Since then, we’ve recruited thousands of apprentices and enabled businesses to grow their own talent. We now offer over 30 standards to support roles across the business.
Our unique scheme takes care of every element, so all businesses can benefit from apprentices.
Skills
From our annual awards ceremony to behind-the-scenes visits to iconic locations such as BT Tower, Inmarsat, 5G Innovation Centres we offer networking and knowledge opportunities throughout the year. Not forgetting our quarterly publications packed full of industry insights.
