Jeff Coursen
CFO – Strategic Advisor

As the Chief Financial Officer and Strategic Advisor of Evolve IP, Jeff Coursen oversees the company’s Finance and Merger and Acquisition teams. In this role, he has headed 14 successful acquisitions at Evolve IP. Jeff has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, MA, and strategic planning in the technology industry.

Prior to joining Evolve IP in 2017, Mr. Coursen served as Managing Partner of GPX Enterprises, overseeing the performance of the real estate and investment firm’s portfolio assets. Earlier in his career, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ATX Communications, where he held various executive management positions for thirteen years. In April of 2005, Leucadia National Corporation (LUK: NYSE), the new owner of ATX, appointed Mr. Coursen as the senior officer.

Mr. Coursen has been and remains active in several professional boards and non-profit associations, including The Eastern Technology Council Board of Directors, the New Jersey Technology Council Board of Directors, The International Financial Management Association – National Honor Society, Squash Smarts Board of Directors, The Dana Farber Boston Marathon and Pan-Mass Challenge, and the Philadelphia Boxing Scholarship Foundation. In March of 2007, Mr. Coursen was appointed as Executive in Residence by the Drexel University Lebow College of Business and served as Chair of the Corporate and Executive Advisory Council.

Mr. Coursen received his B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University, graduated from The Georgetown University Business School Professional Development Program, the Drexel University Executive M.B.A. program and the Wharton School Executive Management Program.

Michael Eisner
VP of Corporate Development
Evolve IP

Michael Eisner serves as Vice President of Corporate Development for Evolve IP and Secretary for the Evolve IP Board. In this role, he manages Evolve IP’s merger and acquisition efforts including strategy, sourcing, deal execution and team development while partnering with various functional areas across Evolve IP.

Michael has over 10 years of domestic and international corporate development experience and has completed over 40 transactions. Prior to his current role, Michael served as Principal for GPX Enterprises, a private investment firm focused on the sponsorship, development, and management of selected private equity investments. Prior to GPX Enterprises, Michael worked for SSG Capital Advisors, a middle market special situations investment banking firm, and the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, an Agency of the European Union located in Loughlinstown, Ireland.

Michael currently serves on the Executive Corporate Board of The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, a science museum dedicated to inspiring a passion for learning about science and technology, and is a leader in the field worldwide. A native of Scranton, PA, Michael now resides in Wynnewood, PA with his wife, Jillian. Michael received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
