March 16, 2015 — Today Evolve IP, The Cloud Services Company™, announced a major expansion to its suite of award-winning Desktop Services. The new solutions enable IT departments to effectively manage the wide variety of physical and virtual desktops and mobile devices that now permeate technology-driven organizations. The Evolved Desktop delivers the most appropriate desktop solution for each end user and improves customer support all while providing complete management in the cloud through a single pain of glass.

Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM)

RMM is the cornerstone of the Evolved Desktop Services Suite. RMM provides IT departments with a remote management console for existing physical workstations and laptops, virtual desktops, and mobile device management. RMM delivers point and click configuration management, patch management, performance reporting, and remote control in a single pane of glass; regardless of the location and type of end-user environment. Optional anti-virus for physical assets provides IT professionals with a one stop shop for end-user management.

Desktop as a Service (DaaS)

DaaS frees businesses from the endless cycle of purchasing, supporting, upgrading and ultimately replacing local PCs by providing a “virtual” workspace that can be accessed from anywhere, at any time, on nearly any device, all for a predictable monthly fee. By leveraging desktop virtualization from VMware, IT managers are freed from the need to touch each desktop to configure, upgrade, troubleshoot or deliver new applications, saving staff time and keeping employees productive.

Hosted Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

VDI is designed for businesses with virtualization experience and privacy or regulatory requirements. Mobile Device Management (MDM)
