Ampla Health Ensures Secure Recoverability of Patient Data

The Challenge

Ampla Health did not have a true disaster recovery solution in place. The backup solution it did have was unreliable, and the company was continuously on the phone with vendor support, trying to get answers. If any disaster – whether natural or internal – were to happen, the organization risked losing the critical patient data that was needed to stay in business and serve its communities

The Solution

The company implemented a HIPAA-compliant, off-site disaster recovery solution, allowing data, operating systems, and business applications to be quickly recovered in the event of a disaster. This includes fully-managed testing and recovery, 24/7/365 failover, and recovery in minutes into a HIPAA-compliant, HITRUST-certified environment.
